Terms of Service
Please read carefully before using Blizo
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Blizo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms at any time — we will notify you of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. We comply with age verification obligations under EU, UK, Bulgarian, US, and Australian law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and all activity under your account. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at svurzhise@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or use automated tools to create accounts.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, stories, posts, event listings, messages). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely within the platform and as necessary to operate it. You are solely responsible for your content. You must not post anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, fraudulent, or in violation of third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, and will notify you of the reason where required by law (including under the EU Digital Services Act, Art. 17).
Reporting & Content Moderation
Blizo provides in-app tools to report objectionable content, fake events, and abusive users. All reports are reviewed. Where we restrict or remove content, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at svurzhise@gmail.com. We aim to respond to appeals within 14 days. We do not guarantee removal of all reported content but take all reports seriously.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Blizo to: post false or misleading event information; harass, threaten, or impersonate others; distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages; upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; scrape or harvest data; engage in any activity that violates applicable law in Bulgaria, the EU, UK, US, Australia, or the jurisdiction where you are located; or post content targeting minors in a harmful way. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination and, where required by law, reporting to relevant authorities.
Events & Third-Party Content
Blizo enables venues and promoters to list events. We do not organise, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party events. Event details (dates, prices, entry requirements, age restrictions) are provided by the organiser. Always verify details directly with the organiser before attending. Blizo is not liable for any harm arising from your attendance at or reliance on listed events.
Location Data
The app uses your device location to show nearby events and features. Location data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings, though some features may be unavailable as a result.
Direct Messages
Messages between users are transmitted securely over HTTPS and stored in our database, which is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Blizo does not read private messages except where legally required (e.g., a valid court order) or where a message is reported by a recipient and reviewed for safety purposes. Do not use messaging to harass, threaten, or solicit others.
Creator Features
Certain features of Blizo are available only to verified creators or specific tiers. Access to these features may be granted or revoked at our discretion. Creators are responsible for any content they publish and must comply with all applicable advertising, sponsorship disclosure, and consumer protection laws.
Intellectual Property
The Blizo name, logo, app design, and all original platform content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent. If you believe content on Blizo infringes your copyright, contact us at svurzhise@gmail.com with a description of the work and the infringing material.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law (including GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA). Some data may be retained for a limited period for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or to protect the safety of the community. Where required by law (including the EU DSA), we will provide reasons and an opportunity to appeal. Account termination does not affect rights or obligations that have already accrued.
Disclaimers
Blizo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy of event listings, or the conduct of other users. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blizo's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed €100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Certain jurisdictions (including EU consumer law, UK Consumer Rights Act, Australian Consumer Law) may grant rights that cannot be excluded — these terms do not affect those rights.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria and, where applicable, EU law. If you are an EU or UK consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your local courts. For EU users, the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect (where required by law). If you do not accept the new terms, you must stop using Blizo and may delete your account before the changes take effect.
